Region: Slopes of Kamara- Oraiokastro Thessaloniki

The arch upon the label (in greek Kamara) is inspired from the arch of triumph, the most famous meeting point in Thessaloniki where people get together, like a wine brings people closer to each other.

Tasting notes:

Tender lemon yellow color. Pinewood tones along with citrus fruits, mint and jasmine. Fresh, elegant and salty palate, the decent resin touch with orange and grapefruit builds up an exciting combination. Long aftertaste.

Winemaking report:

The grapes are destemed. Cool spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Small pieces of Aleppo Pine resin from the mountains of Evia island, added to the must during fermentation gives to the retsina its unique character and aroma. Stirred on fine lees. No oenological substances added, no fining, no filtration, no protein stabilization. We do only tartrate stabilization and add 30ppm sulphites during its bottling.

Aging potential:

Aging potential up to 2 years.
