History of the label: Onto the label someone can see a scene of the Greek traditional shadow theater, called Karagiozis. Karagiozis was the Greek guy who was always against the rich conquerors who were the responsible for the deterioration of the conquered country. Like Karagiozis the natural wines “fight” against the conventional wines which are part of the biggest problem of our world, the deterioration of the nature.

Tasting notes:

Rich dark red color, with complex aromas of small red fruits, vanilla, plums, tomato and black olive. Full-bodied with well-integrated tannins and long-lasting aftertaste.

Winemaking report:

Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration with the skins during the whole fermentation time, no oenological substances added, no sulphites added. The produced wine is aged for 12 months in old barrels and stirred on fine lees for 3 months. No fining, no filtration, no added sulfites, no protein stabilization, only tartaric stabilization.

Aging potential:

Aging potential up to 10 years. Bottled with a natural cork closure, in order to ensure a unique aging capacity. Ideal serving temperature between 16-18ο  C.
